QSR International Winner – Information & Communication Technology
“Having our global operations recognised by winning the Information Communication and Technology Export Award in 2008, 2006 and 2001 is a great achievement. It also provided important recognition for the QSR team, who develop our software end-to-end in Victoria before it’s exported to more than 90 countries around the world.”

Mobius Software Winner – Regional Exporter
“Winning the Regional Export award for the second year in a row was a great honour. Regardless of what you think about your efforts in gaining export sales, having an esteemed panel of judges determine that you are best in your category provides valuable affirmation. We would have loved to win the Australian Export Award (there’s always next year) but having the Prime Minister in attendance demonstrated the importance of these awards.”

Managing Director
Rhine Ruhr Winner – Small to Medium Services
“Being firstly honoured as Victoria’s winner in the category of small to medium services and then to go on to win the Australian Exporter of the year has been seen as a proud achievement by everyone. It has also produced a new level of confidence in our staff and a determination to continue to further grow our export business which presently accounts for more than 50 % of our annual turnover.
As a specialist Chemical Engineering company Rhine Ruhr has always been eager and prepared to demonstrate our abilities worldwide. These valued awards now provide both a credible and independent acknowledgement of our global success to our existing clients and continues to open doors to new ones.
Trading since 1986, and with equipment installed in more than 20 countries, we thank DIIRD, Austrade and EFIC for their support as we have grown and look forward to continuing our association in the future.”

Nucleus Network Ltd Winner – Emerging Exporter
"The Emerging Export Award has been a very positive motivator for our staff and our customers. Our international customers are pleased to see this recognition as it reassures them that they are working with a progressive and successful business. Nucleus Network Limited is a research company that was established through a grant from the Victorian Government’s Innovation Agenda; it is pleasing to turn this small initial investment into a venture that is self sustaining and that is creating many new jobs and skilled people to support the biotechnology industry.”

Redflex Traffic Systems Winner – Large Advanced Manufacturer
“Being awarded as the Large Advanced Manufacturer in 2008 was an important highlight for Redflex Traffic Systems. This award is regarded as a prestigious achievement and we are proud to be one of its bearers. This covetable recognition has assisted us in gaining business locally and - importantly for an Australian company - in the overseas markets. Through our mission to produce the best, our export business has increased significantly each year. This award further promotes us a successful and progressive company. “
Ricardo Fiusco
General Manager
Global E.A.R.S Winner –Small Business
Commendee – Innovation Excellence
“Being recognised as both a winner in the 2008 Export Awards for Small Business and a Commendee for Innovation Excellence has been a real boost for our growing company. Our goal of being the global leader in new carbon reduction technology in the compressed air industry by 2011 has received the initial recognition we were hoping for. As an unlisted public company we have found that external recognition, particularly from independent awards, such as the Governor of Victoria's Export Award, is very beneficial in supporting the raising of capital and receiving government funding for new research and development projects. In 2009 we are raising $1,200,000 to fund two new projects which will further improve the efficiency of air compressors.
