Redflex Traffic Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of the ASX listed public company Redflex Holdings Limited has continued to win major contracts in the USA for its traffic light infringement photo enforcement systems.
The latest contract gains by the Redflex US based subsidiary are with the city of Phoenix (the fifth largest city in the USA) as well as with the cities of Bullhead City and Eloy in Arizona, and Farragut in Tennessee.
Reflex now holds contracts with more than 235 US cities and is the largest provider of digital red light and speed enforcement services in North America.
With photo speed programs in nine states and photo red light systems across 21 states, Redflex has consistently led the market in contract wins, system installation rates and market share.
Redflex Holdings was successful in winning the Large Advanced Manufacturer category of the 2008 Governor of Victoria Export Awards.
The Award reflects the export of successful traffic enforcement programs to markets around the world, including the delivery of traffic cameras, ticket processing software and services.
Through export, Redflex maintains its market leadership position by providing customers with vast industry experience and dedication to ensure the success of their enforcement program.
Continuing their success within the Middle East, Redflex also recently won an additional contract in Qatar for traffic camera systems.
Redflex will supply a further 24 red-light and speed cameras to the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar.
These will be added to the established network of 86 Redflex systems delivered in 2008.
